Want to make it good? Just dip it in chocolate...

My newest trial was a two day affair. It also once again didn't turn out how i wanted but that's just how it goes right? I wanted to give my cookies an edge so I asked myself..."Self, how can I make these cookies better?" Self told me to dip them in chocolate. So dip them in chocolate I did.

I tried to make a design on the plate. Tried.
This is how they turned out. Eh. The chocolate was way too thin and never really dried. Just turned into this sticky shiny mess? I don't know why but I'll probably spend the weekend trying to figure out why and never do that again.

In other news I made some more cookies yesterday, all impromptu like, and they were very tasty. I'm still working on how to get them a uniformed size and shape but I found a cool trick on the interwebs yesterday I'm very excited to try.

Today I purchased some things to make me feel official. I bought a legit container to seal my cookies in. I found some nice containers for ingredients I'm going to get soon, I got two new Cuisinart baking sheets (offish, I know), these cute little boxes to put cookies in when you give them to people. They even come with presh little tags a la Martha Stewart. But the best purchase of the day is my super cute Stepford-inspired apron.

That's me!
Now I feel like a baker! I plan on taking a trip to the farmers market tomorrow to gets some weekend inspiration. I'm itching to make another batch already!

Until then,

LCG
